
Ivy has been a business
owner and entrepreneur for almost 30 years. She co-founded a
computer software company, which grew to become the industry
leader in database, business management solutions. Her
clients included Fortune 500 companies, several of the top
six accountancy firms, and many financial management
organizations. She maintained an IT consulting practice for
over 20 years with offices San Francisco, Los Angeles and
San Diego, before she sold the company in the 90’s.
Today, Ivy consults with
DoudHausnerVistar to mid-market family-owned businesses,
teaches organization dynamics at UCSD and is a new TEC (a
CEO focused think-tank) chair in San Diego. In her spare
time she takes executives on Saddle Sojourns, a workshop
experience that teams humans with horses to learn about
leadership in a different way.
Ivy is a member of the Organization Development Network, a
trustee on the Global Council of Appreciative Inquiry, LLC,
a board member of the National Association of Women Business
Owners in San Diego, and a founding member of the Southern
California MSOD regional alumni group.
Ivy has a Masters degree in Organization Development from
Pepperdine University. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts
degree in psychology from the State University of NY at
Stony Brook.
Ivy enjoys endurance horse riding, hiking in
the canyons of the Colorado plateau, and playing tennis.
Ivy is currently single and lives in Cardiff
with 2 black cats and a golden retriever puppy. |
